One of a kind artwork. Meaningful gifts. Personal commissions.
All art begins as an idea, usually the artist's. The beautiful thing about custom artwork is the collaboration between your idea and my profession. Every custom work begins with a conversation. I learn about your vision and the soul behind it, and I often create sketches based on our discussion to visualize the concept.
Once I begin creating, you're invited to every step of the journey and will receive progress photos along the way so you can watch your artwork take shape. Your idea is the heart of the artwork, and any any continued thoughts, revisions, and conversations are more than welcome.
When the piece is completed, I send it off - with a bittersweet goodbye - to its forever home.
This is a tricky question — and an important one.
Custom artwork isn’t a flat-rate product, because every piece I create is tailored from the ground up: the subject, the size, the materials, the time involved, and the creative energy poured into it.
I use professional, high-quality materials that will hold up, instead of cheaper materials that won't stand the test of time. Beyond that, artwork can take me dozens, sometimes over 100 hours to complete. Because of these factors, custom artwork isn't priced like something mass-produced. It's your vision brought to life by a real person who cares deeply about making it beautiful. The price reflects that.
As a general guide:
Graphite drawings typically start around $200, depending on size and complexity.
Paintings tend to start closer to $500, though many projects are priced higher due to the scope of work involved.
Sculptural or mixed media commissions are available as well and tend to vary even more.
That said — my first priority is creating. I love this work, and I believe deeply in sharing more color, meaning, and beauty through art. If pricing is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to talk it through.
My specialty is hyperrealism with a surrealist twist, especially when it comes to portraits. But my work spans a wide range of styles and subjects. I’ve created abstract pieces, pop-art–inspired works, Judaica, landscapes, pet portraits, psychedelic art, and more. I love exploring new aesthetics and getting to know my clients’ visions. So in short: we're not limited. If you can imagine it, we can probably create it.
It really varies — the timeline depends on the level of detail, size, complexity, and how many revisions we make along the way. Some pieces come together quickly, while others take more time. I don’t give set hour estimates because each project is so different, but I always make sure your piece gets the time and attention it deserves.
If you have a specific deadline in mind, I’m always happy to work with you to see what’s possible.
Your input matters deeply to me, and I welcome your feedback throughout the process. Our is an ongoing conversation, and if there’s something you’d like adjusted — whether it’s a color shift, a shape tweak, or a new idea partway through — I’ll always take it seriously and do my best to incorporate it while still honoring the overall vision of the piece.
Once the artwork is finished, you’ll have up to two hours of minor revisions included at no extra charge (think: small edits, fine-tuning colors, etc). If your request goes beyond what’s considered minor, I’ll let you know ahead of time and give you a clear estimate. Additional revisions beyond that are billed at $30/hour.
